Do you have Brucettude?

I’m prob’ly … oh, I don’t know… half-way through Bruce Springsteen’s autobiography, Born To Run.

Interesting read. One of the few who actually owes all his music. Smart man. Actually prob’ly more he’s a control freak about his life, but I totally get it.

‘Tiz why I live the life I do, been accused of being a free spirit. A compliment as far as I’m concerned.

Anyway, back to Bruce.

At one point, early on in his career, he was battling it out with his publisher over his “deal.” Bruce got to a point he just wanted out of all this paperwork bullpiss and get on with making music. He didn’t care if he made a dime or lost everything.

Of course, he didn’t. but he was willing to.

In fact, his attitude was… paraphrasing here…

“I don’t care if I lose everything, because I know you could drop me out of an airplane anywhere in America with nothing but a parachute and my guitar, I’ll find a venue, a backup band, and we’ll rock the house back up again.”

Sometimes, it’s that “who cares… I’m jumping’” attitude which shuts up the fearful voices and songwriting stage fright as it were.

What I do is help you kick that fear in the teeth with proven techniques which hand you the ‘give no shytes’ Brucettude, and allows you to learn and write without second guessing all the time.

A mentor songwriter of mine used to tell me, “If you think something is wrong in a song, it prob’ly is.”

In other words, trust your intuition. And intuition is gotten by experience.  And experience is gotten by writing using basic and advanced techniques.

And as luck would have it, that’s exactly what you get in TuneBooster. See how it works?
